Good morning girls

Oh my goodness we in June already. Where o where does the time go??????

I have  been a bit absent here. The horrible winter flu here in South Africa got a hold of me and I was down for a week.
I am on the mend and able to function fine.
I have bee awake since 3.30am this morning. Had to get hubby to the airport  for his flight to Namibia.

We live about 20 km from O R Tambo Int Airport so its really very quick.

So I have been so unproductive this last week. I will really have to up my game.

I hope I will have something gorgeous and inspiring to show everybody soon.

Keep scrapping

Some Celebr8 fun.

Good morning friends.
Sjoee I can't believe it is Friday again.

I have been busy arranging a Crop Day and have done  some  work for the day.

I have used only plain cardstock and basically creating textures on the page.

I would like to share some snippets with you today.

Please enjoy this and it would be really nice if you leave a message to tell me what you think.

Glue gun technique

Good morning from South Africa.

I am going to share today a fun technique I picked up on Pinterest. I am sure, like me, there are soo many followers of this amazing platform.
I found this fun idea and tried it. I loved it and thought I would share it with you all.

So here goes:

Glue gun technique:

1.     A Glue gun and glue stick (any colour stick you prefer) obviously if you use a clear stick  you can change the colour.
2.  A Craft Matt
3.  Adirondack alcohol ink - colour of your choice.
4. Blending solution for alcohol ink.

To do:

Have the alcohol ink and the Blending solution handy when you colour your glue stick motif.

Lay the Craft Matt in front of you on your workspace.
Switch the glue gun on and wait for it to get hot.
Squeeze the glue out and make motifs. I made circles Squares and Hearts.

My squares
Wait for all the motifs to get cold and don't worry about the little bits of string that is there while you work. We are going to trim it.

Use a sharp pointed scissors and trim the motifs.

Now use the alcohol ink and pour a little on the Craft Matt. Add blending solution if you want it slightly lighter.

Swipe the glue stick motif through the ink.

VOILA!!!!! You are done.

Use it on your scrapbooking  layouts or cards.

I hope you are going to have fun.

It will be cool if you can tell me if you enjoyed the technique.

Kaiser Craft Crop Day - Using Story Book Range.

Good Morning to all the scrapping ladies out there!!!!
The Easter Weekend is nearly finished and I thought I would share some pics with you of the Crop Day we had at out local Scrapbook Store in Benoni.
We used the Story Book range and I will, show some pics of the pages.

I prepared 2 double page layouts for the day and the girls created there pages around that.

I did one technique on the one page. Just a little stamping in texture paste. I must admit I was very please with the end result!!!!

See if you agree.
Here are some close ups of the detail on the pages

This double page was called "Live in the Moment"

I will add Photos as soon as I can get the Nicholls
gang together. This is a family page for us.

The second page we did had the technique on.

Here are some close ups of the  page.

Here is where I did the technique.

Well I hope you did enjoy looking at this project.

Please tell me if you enjoyed it.
Also if you need more information about the technique I will be happy to pass it on to you. Just leave a message for me.
