Mintay - Cosy Evenings

So its Saturday and I don't normally post on Saturday's but I am at working today. It is peaceful here hence the post.
If you are a scrapbooker you will know the Piatek Mintay Range is taking the industry up with a storm.
Today I want to share snippets with you of my new page where I used the paper range - Cosy Evenings.
I absolutely LOVE fussy cutting,it is my new go to in Scrapbooking.
As you all know I love flowers. A page for me is not complete if it does not have flowers on.
I will share my double page layout as soon as I have done the complete project.
In the mean time I hope you enjoy the snippets.

Have a fab day and as always Keep Scrapping

Jeffrey's Bay Retreat Scrapping

Good morning from an overcast day in South Africa.
We have had such lovely rain throughout the night and of course it is nice and wet everywhere.

So as I have said before I had the opportunity to teach in Jeffrey's bay in the Cape.

I am going to share some snippets for you to have a look at.

1. First Page:

This snippets shows the detail of the clumping of the flowers.
The lines stamped on the page was done with a corrugated board which I just painted and stamped with it.
The circles on the pages was done with the inside of a toilet roll.

2. Second Page:

On this page I did some circles and added the photos from the back.

I did some "stencil bumping"(a technique i found courtesy fo Pinterest) I will in time post a tutorial of how to do the technique. This technique gives the look of a shadow behind the texture paste.
I also made some ribbon flowers and added some glitter.

I hope you enjoy the snippets.
As always lots of love and keep scrapping!!!!!!!!!

Jeffreys Bay October 2019

I recently had the opportunity to teach in Jeffreys Bay in the Cape for Scrapbook Studio.
I always love going there. Cariena and her team are such wonderful girls to work with.
We stayed in a cottage in Kabeljouws overlooking the river and then ultimately the sea.
These pics just show the wonderful sunrise. An awesome sight indeed.

Re-Design Chalk Paste and Ranger Oxides on a chippie!

The chalk paste must be my new toy to play with in scrapbooking.
I love the Oxides and the effect it gives to any project BUT the chalk past is wonderful.
I painted the chippie using both mediums. Just look at the wonderful finish it creates.

I hope you like the result and give it a try.
I will add the steps next time I post.

Have a lovely time Scrapping

Little Birdie Flowers/Penelope Dee "Whisper" collection

Hi Scrapping friends.
I had a lovely creative weekend. So I am showing you how and what I got to do.
I played with the new Penelope Dee "Whisper " collection.
The flowers I chose are from the LITTLE BIRDIE collection and it was the absolute perfect match to the paper.

Little Birdie Design Team Call

  • I have created a few special pages for this using flowers, a lot of flowers.
  • If you know me you would know that I LOVE flowers on my layouts.

                                               You make my world sparkle

  • On this page I did a lot of fussy cutting. The ladies are all cut out.
  • The paper is the Colourblast Trendsetter.

  • Here I used the "Little Birdie" Woodlands Stories range and loads of flowers.
  • I masked a little on the right for a bit of texture on the page.

On my next post I am going to do a bit of journal-ling using masks/stencils and oxide inks!!! Don't miss it.

I hope you all love this.

Lots of love and keep scrapping!!!!!!
